    THE JOB BRIEF
    Job Summary:

    Plan, organize, lead and control the activities and resources within the area of operation (including data collection for both offline and Online methodologies with set SOP’ and ensure quality, cost, timelines and specifications AND / OR good in automation, data processing, data analysis, dashboard creation and driving new initiatives.

    Operation

    • Plan, schedule and establish workflow within the area of operation with regular monitoring of activities in order to meet the overall schedule of the assigned project
    • Manage resources effectively (including manpower allocation) to ensure a more effective and efficient discharge of department’s function
    • Ensure department plans / schedules / issues are communicated with other related departments for further action planning
    • Ensure the business achieves operational targets through effective management of resources under responsible areas
    • Ensure proper costing system is in placed
    • Discuss special requirements and provide technical advise to client service counterparts or clients related to the specialized area
    • Achieve delivery schedules within ongoing emphasis to improve efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and cost effectiveness
    • Ensure regular updates between different operation teams to ensure process and procedures are aligned
    • Ensure data and systems back-up are created and maintained
    • Assist staff on technical problems regarding the area of operation
    Systems / Process Management

    • Ensure standard operating procedures within area of responsibility are observed
    • Periodically review existing systems and procedures in light of the rapid changes in the business environment and recommend changes / introduce new methods as necessary, with the end goal of maximizing technology and resources
    • Recommend system enhancements and process improvements within area of responsibility
    Organizational Management and Development

    • Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the business unit to achieve the overall business objectives and recommend system enhancements
    • Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
    • Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork
    People Management

    • Utilize the Performance and Development Plan to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for direct reports
    • Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
    • Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
    • Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist associates towards achieving the performance expectations and standards
    • Act as coach, guide and mentor to employees
    • Ensure that associates are aware of the nature of their specific roles in relationship to the local market, the sub-region and overall regional operation
    • Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements
    • Conduct consistent periodic coaching “work with-s” to observe team members with clients and provide feedback
    • Contribute to driving world class employee satisfaction through the implementation of relevant organizational initiatives that build on employee commitment
    • Address professional development goals and needs of direct reports
    • Ensures proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules, regulations, policies and procedures given the wide-spread of operation associates
    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
    • College graduate (BA / BS desired)
    • 6 to 10 years Data Collection / Data Processing / Data Analysis / Quality Control experience desired
    • Knowledge of market research industry and statistics
    • Supervisory skills (at least 4 years in supervisory positions)
    • Project management skills
    • Communications skills
